IWS/SPNet Pro Upgrade Notification:
Maintenance Window Scheduled for Thursday, 27 October 2016
Iridium BOSS Release 2 2016 for SPNet Pro and IWS is scheduled for Thursday, 27 October 2016 at approximately 17:00 GMT. Currently the maintenance window is scheduled for 8 – 10 hours during which SPNet Pro and IWS will be unavailable. If we are unable to perform the upgrade on this date, the alternate backup date is Friday, 11 November 2016.

What is changing?
There will be IWS-impacting changes being deployed in this upgrade.  If you do not make corresponding changes to your code, some of your current features may no longer work properly.  This release introduces functionality to support Iridium CertusSM. In addition, partners (both SPNet Pro and IWS) will also notice changes affecting Search capabilities, Burst provisioning, On-demand reporting calls, the Demo Report format and the removal of service-specific search types (e.g., SBD_IMEI, GDB_IMEI will be just IMEI).

During the first week of September you will receive the updated IWS SOAP Developer Guide that will detail the changes. The BETA environment will be updated with these changes and will be available for testing in early September. You will receive notification when it has been brought online.

7-Sept-2016: IWS/SOAP Developer Guide (Beta) Available for Download; IWS and SPNet Pro Beta Environment available for development and testing

21-Sept-2016: IWS Developer Workshop

17-Oct to 21-Oct-2016: SPNet Pro Training (Specific dates and time TBA).
